Hi, i am looking a cheap sas/sataII 1 u backplane (actually for 5 units).

I found some 1u backplanes from Supermicro-Backplane-CSE-SATA-813-4x-SATA. Can someone confirm to me if this backplane is SATAI or SATAII, I really can´t find anything about it.

Can anyone also tell me where I can find some of them? Also, I would prefer they have all sata ports on one side, like the one I mentioned before...or having 1 mini-sas port.

    Are you in the US?  IPCDirect (Norco's storefront) sells all of their backplanes from their rackmount cases for around $55.  Go here and search 'backplane'.

     

    Here is the factsheet on the Supermicro backplane you mention.  Unfortunately it doesn't specify whether it is SATA I or SATA II.  You might have to contact Supermicro directly to ask them.
