For reference, I am currently running a 4-core i7 (7th or 8th Gen IIRC), 16GB of RAM, and I already own both the GPU and Storage so those will help bring down the price significantly. I use my system for Media Server duties, Home Assistant, Nextcloud, Immich, and a Gaming VM that pulls double duty for design and coding work.
