Wrong Pool State After Upgrade to Unraid OS version 7.0.0-beta.3

Featured Replies

Did an upgrade from the newest unraid stable release to Unraid OS version 7.0.0-beta.3 and received the attached error when starting the array.

Wrong Pool State

cache- invalid config

I did a backup of my config before doing the update.  Pats self on the back.  Attached is the cache.cfg located in flash/config/pools from before the upgrade and after.  This cache is two 500GB SSDs that are a mirror of one another for redundancy.  Any assistance in resolving this would be very much appreciated.

For background on why I updated to a beta...  I installed an a310 to improve my encoding/transcoding and it appeared the best options were to either upgrade to the beta or manually update the kernel.

Hello,

I just upgraded to 7.0 stable and I'm getting something similar.

Unless the nvme1tb is part of Cache_nvme, I can lose/drop these three problems.  The nmve1tb 'might' be and old 1tb nmve I attached at one time in the past.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I figured out what the three are and that I don't need them.  I just removed the three pools and was able to start the array.  Not a fix, but it got me up and running.  Thanks

If the pools don't have any assigned devices, or more slots than assigned devices, you must remove the pool or change the slot number to the total of assigned devices, respectively.
