February 20, 201214 yr I am trying to use my media player with NFS shares. I can access NFS shares vie my media player like this: NFS/192.168.1.3/mnt/user/Media/Movies What I want is to access NFS and go directly to Movies folder. Is there a way to do that? Thanks for any help!
February 20, 201214 yr Whats wrong with how you are doing it? Another way would be to make a sym link on say /mnt/disk1/Movies pointing to the directory. Then set the user share that will appear after restarting the array to export nfs. You would then mount /mnt/users/Movies Not really saving you much typing Sent from my SGH-I727R using Tapatalk

Thanks for any help! What is the meaning your question? Which Media Player are you using? Are you trying to setup your media player? I assume from your statement--"I can access NFS shares vie my media player like this:" --- that you have actually access the unRaid NFS share by manually entering the mounting info. I guess I am trying to say if you want help, you will have to provide the forum with a lot more information.
February 26, 201214 yr Author Sorry for taking so long to answer back. I've found a solution to my problem. I ended up using some linux code to hack my media player so whenever I try to access my NFS shares from it, it goes directly to Media folder.
