October 16, 20241 yr About 6 months ago I was forced to update Unraid to 6.12.10 due to the need for Docker Usage/Community Application support (Thanks Unraid). After the update (was previously on 6.9.2) my VM of Windows 10 freezes seconds into starting. I can boot into the OS and soon as I attempt to do anything, it freezes. CPU does not spike, no core usage, just a quiet freeze. I attempted to make a duplicate VM pointing to the same vDisk Image file, same result. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. clue-diagnostics-20241015-2326.zip
October 25, 20241 yr Author Is there no more support for people who purchased the "Unraid Pro" licenses? Must I shell out an additional $250 for the lifetime license in order to illicit a response on this forum?

That won't have anything to do with getting a reply or not, this kind of issues are difficult to help since they are very specific. The duplicate VM you tried was created from new, or you just copy/pasted the XML? If the latter, does a new VM with a new vdisk work?

I may be that the virtio drivers may be old in the VM where you running the latest?

I tried updating to a newer model as well as updating/using the latest virtio drivers but that results in the same freezing. I also updated the unraid OS in hopes that would maybe fix it, sadly it did not. I am now running 6.12.14

December 29, 20241 yr Author Sadly no vDisk backups, but this happened when updating unraid to 6.12.10 so I am doubtful a vDisk backup would do anything. Are there any recommendations on what to look for in the vDisk or configuration changes I can try?
December 29, 20241 yr If you think it's upgraded related, you can first try downgrading back to the previous release you are using and confirm if it still works there.
December 31, 20241 yr Author Update: While using the "new" VM/vDisk I created from scratch, that too is also freezing. VirtIO drivers are updated to 266-1 when I created it.
