So my parents may be gone for a month and have left me in charge of there home. Now and they have the same isp/package as I do which includes unlimited bandwidth. I may be upgrading here soon.

 

now I have 2 newsgroups accounts one is not being used at this moment so I will use that one. I am wondering what is the best way I can set up an old netbook with sabnzb and log into it and control sabnzb.

 

I am looking for a web interface something like www.parents.com/sabnzb.

I have a vip account at nzbmatrix, I am also looking at getting my mother a raspberry pi (xbmc) and a small unraid server maybe just the free for now with 4tb drives when they come down. With this she will get her tv shows that she always misses and some movies. is there any way I can have her unraid server access my ip to obtain the nzb from my vip account but download from her isp? I could just set something up and pay the $10 but thought I would ask.

 

 

I don't think nzbmatrix limits access by ip.

 

Usenet servers do, but only when there is concurrent access. With nzbmatrix, the nzb files are so small that, the chances of concurrent access are also low.

 

I don't think they would notice unless you posted your account info online and all of a sudden had a thousand people hammering their site at the same time with the same account.

 

You should be fine with nzbmatrix, and since you have two usenet accounts, you should be fine with that as well.
