Mapping of UI disk numbers to Linux devices

Featured Replies

I am going to zero out and remove a disk from my array.  I am using the The "Clear Drive Then Remove Drive"  method to avoid a parity rebuild.

I am using this method to zero the disk:

Can someone verify the the numeric part of the UI name is the device number.

I.E, if the UI says "Disk 2" then this is /dev/mt2p1?  The reason I ask is that I can't find this information anywhere in the Unraid docs and if anyone knows where it is documented, could you supply a reference?

Thanks.
