Device is disabled. Contents Emulated

Featured Replies

Hi,
Recently one of my drives displayed the red X and Device is disabled. Contents Emulated. I spun down and stopped the array, restarted, then re-added the drive. Once it was rebuilt the drive again went to disabled at some point over the last day or so.

It's logged as a disk problem, but there's no SMART, reboot and post new diags after array start.

Previous reboot didn't show a SMART error, however on this reboot it's displaying a SMART error for that drive. I'll RMA, thanks for the help.
