October 19, 20241 yr Hi everyone, I have the problem that my "Parity Drive" boots up every time I delete a file from one of the other hard drives or copy something. I would like the "Parity Drive" to only boot up when it is synchronized monthly. Is it possible to stop this? Many thanks :)

Many thanks This is not possible as parity is updated in real time as you change data on the array. The monthly task you mention is NOT a synchronization task - it is a health check that parity is currently valid for the data on the main array.
