WeeboTech
Ok, thanks. One thing I noticed: on the mymain-page both volumes show as HPA. I'm not surprised, these are real hardware raid volumes. Data about the raidset is stored somewhere. I would not worry about it. Quote Link to comment

SSD
There is an easy way to turn off the false HPA indicator for non-standard drive sizes. Look in the myMain thread. Sorry cant remember off the top of my head. If you have any trouble leave a post in that thread and I will help you. Quote Link to comment
WeeboTech
Thanks all, I disabled the false HPA waening. I moved the UPS Recommendation request to a new thread. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=18867.0 Quote Link to comment

dikkiedirk
Is there a way to test the reliability of mainly the parity volume on the ARC1200. The 2 drives on it have been precleared before using them on the ARC1200 but SMART info is not available now and the parity volume is RAID0, and I hate to see somthing going wrong there. dikkiedirk
Logic explanation. Could have invented that one myself. At 65 % I didn't see any reads from disk1, in fact disk 1 was spun down. Now I have to find where I can set spin down on the ARC1200. It's in the bios. I think the max was 1 hour. I wrote a tool to keep the drives spinning all day, then let it spin down at night. Hi Weebo, Are you willing to share this tool? Will it work on all disks? Quote Link to comment
