    I bought one at the original price.  Keep in mind that this is the bare CPU, not the retail box.  That means there's no fan or heatsink included.

    Any recommendations for a cooler?

    Nothing in particular, no.  I'll probably try to find a used or recycled heatsink and use this CPU in one of my test servers.  Any of the $10 - $20 heatsinks at Newegg will likely work as well.  Just make sure it fits the AM3 socket.
