Unraid WebGUI Not Accessible

Featured Replies

I've been struggling with this issue for a few weeks. After playing around with it for a while here's whats going on:

  • I can access Unraid web GUI after turning on the server
  • When I start the array the web GUI is no longer available when I browse to the local IP
  • I can still browse to the web GUI through the tailscale IP address
  • I cannot access the shared files though file explorer
  • I have to restart the server and PC in order to regain access to the local IP interface, again when I start the array the cycle starts again

I tried disabling Docker this evening, but it doesn't seem to help.

Any input would be much appreciated!

Try booting in safe mode to rule out a plugin issue.

@JorgeB, I tried this was not able to get the web gui to pull up on my laptop even after restarting the laptop. Tailscale IP didn't work either, but I assume it probably doesn't work in safe mode. I was, however, able to use my cell phone and browse to the local web GUI....

Correct.

That suggests a laptop problem.

@JorgeB I thought also. The thing that's really confusing is that the same thing is happening on all three of our laptops. I have a separate unraid server at our office and the same laptops have no problem accessing the web gui on that one.

Are the home laptops connected as guest or public networks?

@Veah Yeah, they are on the same network. I was playing around with it last night and believe I found the issue. When I turn off the tailscale app on my laptop I then am able to connect to the local web gui. Something changed recently because that didn't seem to bother anything when I initially had everything set up.
