Hi all. I've been lurking fora while, and finally started to put together a server. The first few times I tried to preclear the console just become unresponsive. Keyboard input was shown, but didn't do anything, nor could I switch to a new session (alt-f2). Now when I try to preclear the hard drive (5k300 2tb) the console locks up and just scrolls this repeating string. I tired to google the contents, but I couldn't find anything.

 

I ran a smart report, I didn't see anything odd though.

Normally I'm good at troubleshooting, but I'm at a loss here. Any ideas, or is the drive just bad?
