3264972: error : virNetSocketReadWire:1781 : End of file while reading data: Input/output error

Featured Replies

Lately the web gui, ssh access and some of my docker containers have started to lose network connection. I have narrowed the problems down to the VM manager and the error messages below. If I connect to the wireguard VPN hosted on the server I can access the gui and turn off/on the VM manager. Then everything is fine with no vm’s running. If I start a VM it runs for about 20-30 minutes before the same problem occurs again.

What is causing this and what is the solution??

Don't see anything else, do you have a libvirt.img backup from before this issue started? Another possibility would be to create a new one, then recreate the VMs and point to the existing Vdisks and see if that helps.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any backups before the problem. I have just deleted all the VMs and the libvirt.img to se if setting up things fresh may help.
