[SOLVED] Feature Request: Share with No-Access for a user

Featured Replies

At the moment I can only set the rights to Read or Read/Write. But I store personal data and media data on my unRAID system. If I allow a friend to connect to the unRAID system to use the media data I want to disable my personal data for him - he should also NOT read it.

So I'm requesting a permission setting for a user share: No Access.

I looked through the user setup on 5.0 once. You can definately set up users and then deny a user access to a share.

There is a post somewhere that describes the share permissions but I have no idea where it is. Hopefully someone else can help.

Putting the user on the invalid users box under the share settings should do the trick.

Sorry. Yes I can choose private as export mode and that allows No-Access setting. Not sure why I did not see it before  ::)
