Parity Check - Unmountable disks

Featured Replies

Hello,

During a recent parity check, one of my disks of all a sudden beacme unmountable. I thought it just went bad and removed it. When i added the replacement disk (already fromatted), it too presented itself as umnountable. I tried to do a new config with all disk in original slot. When the parity check began, another disk in the array became unmountable. I changed out sata cables and sata card put probelm still persists. What is causing my disks to all of a sudden become unmountable during parity check. I've already list data from one disk due to this..

This won't help with unmountable disks.

Same.

Check filesystem on disk3, run it without -n

And if you still have the old unmountable disk intact, you can also check filesystem on it using the UD plugin for example.
