March 3, 201214 yr Hi gang, I know that has had to come up before but I can't seem to find it here. I am trying to connect my LG Blu ray player to act as my network set top box until I decide on another solution (waiting to see how 3D is implimented in the next round of nmt's) The player is only picking up shares on my windows box. I have dropped back to simple security to see if that was it. Am I doing something wrong or do I need some kind of add in for Unraid to present itself to the player? Edit to add I am on v 4.7 Thanks John
March 20, 201313 yr Did you ever find answer to this problem? I have smart Sony BluRay player that cannot "see" new UNRAID server. Both are wired to same router. BluRay player can stream movies from Iomega NAS fine. Suspect it is a matter of when UNRAID box will announce its presence on network. Not sure. thanks.

Now might be a good time to make the jump to the 5.0 series before you get too much set up on the unRAID system. You are going to need to make the jump if you want to use any drive larger than 2TB anyway and with 3TB and 4TB drives coming down in price rapidly I would have expected if you buy a new drive it is likely to be of that sort of capacity.
