Can't start array, two disks fail/disappear

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I'm relatively new (few months) to the unraid world and fear that I lost files (paperless, immich,...).

Last night everything worked fine and I could reach all docker. This morning I couldn't reach anything and I looked at the dashboard from unraid. I saw that the array was stopped and missing disks 1 and 5 (see screenshot).

Disk 1 was 3 TB and Disk 5 was 12 TB.

After a reboot to the main tab, I saw disk 1 doesn't appear and I plugged a new 3 TB so load the files back from parity. But I couldn't start the array because the missing disk 5. So but unraid doesn't show me which serial number it is. So I had a spare 8 TB around and plugged it in only to see if it will give me the option to start...I couldn't start either.

So my questions:

1. Are all of my files lost?

2. Is there a way how I can start the array?

3. Why are the info from disk 5 not shown?

4. How can I check if the disks are bad or only unraid doesn't want them?

Wish you had asked before doing anything. You made things worse.

Do you still have the original disks?

Yes, I have the original disks and I actually did nothing, only reboot and plug new disks to the PC.

How can I pull a full log file, which you can use?
