Updating docker templates - best practice?

Featured Replies

Hello.

Looking for some guidance. Is there a way to update existing containers docker templates?

Lets say for example. I have container A, that I setup a year ago. Since then changes have been made to the template in the CA which introduce new docker variables or paths. Is there a way to tell unraid to pull that and update my existing one?

The method I have been using is removing the container and then re-installing (not from previous) but for containers where I have added in my own variables or mappings this takes a bit longer. Maybe I am missing something obvious.

Thanks and thanks for the good work to the unraid team.

Either edit your existing template to include the new fields, or edit a new template to include your specific fields. Don't think there is any other way.
