First time unraid user, unraid wont boot and usb is shown as empty in disk manager

Hi all , im trying to setup a new unraid server but i cant get the machine to boot. Ive set the bios to boot form usb but when i turn it on it says no boot device found.

i had a look at the usb in win expolrer and disk mangement and it shows as unallocated.

 

Please help am i doing somthing wrong?

How did you prepare the boot flash drive?

Hi, I cleaned it with cmd as admin and then created a simple volume and ran the unraid usb creator tool.

You don't need to do that, the USB tool will take care of everything, are you booting UEFI or legacy? What does the boot menu show as boot options?
