Randomly Losing Access to Server

Featured Replies

***Solved for anyone having the same issue***

Unraid server was offering a different IP than my router had set as a static IP. My DHCP server accepted that different number and then the IP was incorrect. Setting the IP to static on the Unraid server will hopefully correct this from happening by the server not asking for a different IP anymore.

Server becomes unresponsive and loses access either through the GUI or SSH. When pinging the local IP address it does not respond. Strangely, Home Assistant (VM) and plex are accessible locally. Plex is not available remotely. Home Assistant is still accessible through Cloudflare. All other dockers are not accessible. It happened at 2am on 11-10-24. The only fix is to initiate a safe shut down with the power button and then start the server manually again. I've posted the clip from my log below and the complete log attached.

glad you figured it out. if you have a monitor taht views unraids output when fully booted the terminal screen will show the ip address it is set too.

@bmartino1 Thank you for the response. I also realized after the fact that I could have checked my router as well and seen the IP address as well, keeping from having to restart and start parity over again. I didn't understand what was happening until this point.
