November 11, 20241 yr Im very new to servers, previously ESXI 7 was on my server it was working fine and i installed the software onto the USB. but now using the UNRAID tool the server skips over boot from USB and doesn't seem to recognize it at all. I have wiped my drives and set them to RAID 0 I have looked online as much as possible but cannot find an answer. Edited November 11, 20241 yr by BooM141
November 11, 20241 yr Community Expert Not related to your boot problems, but RAID controllers are NOT recommended for many reasons.

November 11, 20241 yr Community Expert Looks like there's no UEFI support yet, try booting that flash drive in a different PC to confirm it's booting, and make sure you are booting legacy, it may boot UEFI and not legacy.

I have attempted and still no good unfortunately Edited November 11, 20241 yr by BooM141
November 11, 20241 yr Community Expert Nope, if the flash drive was correctly created, it always supports legacy boot, EFI/EFI- is only relevant for UEFI boot.

I attempted to boot from the USB on my main rig and this is the error I get. I re ran make bootable.bat and the issue persists
November 11, 20241 yr Author Solution Solved, use manual method. Created a bootable USB using rufus. PSA below for the options used
