November 12, 20241 yr A few months ago, I installed ~10-14 PM1633 and PM1643a and the performance was limited to ~50MB/s. After talking to @limetech, we determined that the kernel was most likely causing the issue. Since then I switched over to TrueNAS Scale and i'm not all that happy with it. I want to go back to Unraid but wanted to ask if anyone has some of these drives to see if the kernel has been update to better support these drives?
November 12, 20241 yr did you try beta 7, I have a unraid v7 beat 4 with a PM1633 with a dell server I did for testing a brief time. I Moved off the platform due to sas drives. but on beta i didn't have any noticeable issues.

What was the situation with the SAS drives? What firmware are you running on the PM1633's?
November 12, 20241 yr I don't know it was a used dell I got off a friend and it wasn't running long maybe a month or two. moved to newer hardware. all i can say is try the beta.
