Help picking up a motherboard the CWWK New Q670 or another brand

Featured Replies

Hello friends,

I will set up my first NAS system; I wish to plan a robust system to support my needs, such as hosting websites, a few dockers, and Plex with 4k movies.

I thought about getting the following MB - CWWK New Q670

My only concern is that it's a brand I'm unfamiliar with, I did see some people here in the forum that recommended using CWWK.

Should I go with this brand or go with something familiar as Asus/Gigabyte/MSI

One more question that I have is - would I need a graphic card to support my needs with the CWWK New Q670 board? If so, I would love to get a few recommendations from you guys.

p.s - would this case fit the motherboard ?

Thank you in advance for helping me 🙂

Hey!

I picked up this board last week. I'm having a very difficult time getting ANY documentation on it.  Past the English sales website, I've had to weed through a Chinese support site for several hours and have not even found the Q670 product files.

At his point i'm considering pulling it and getting a better supported brand.

What are you missing in terms of the documentation part ?

Hey,

User manual is here https://kdrive.infomaniak.com/app/share/1061285/985602a0-2c49-482a-a720-51da801f6c5d

Got the link and other useful information from:

To enable x8x8 for the PCI Slot you need a jumper (not supplied) here:

For the graphic Card - depends what you need - for some non GPU related dockers and Plex the intel CPU will be enough (I use Intel 13500) with PL2 limited to 65W (the main destination for my build is Plex so i don't need extensive power)

Like i said in my post the BIOS is huge - you need to spend some time for fine tunning (if you know what you doing :D )

Also check the bios for the latest.

I hope this helps
