What the best way to control fans at the moment?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have 3x 3 pin case fans connecting to my MB, and 1x 4 pin CPU cooler connected to MB.

I've currently set fan speeds in BIOS to acceptable noise levels to try and keep HDD's cool, but these are based on CPU and MB temps.

Is there a better way of controlling the fans in the Unraid server that can include HDD temps in the overall fan speed required, without having to spend ages configuring and fiddling? And being able to set fan curves etc?

Obviously the goal is to keep the server as quiet as possible while maintaining suitable temps throughout.

Thanks
