November 17, 20241 yr Had a power outage over night and according to the email notifications at 12:35am the power went out and at 1:00am the "remaining battery charge below limit on UPS Tower" and shut down the server. When i started the server back up, it said an unclean shutdown. Not sure why it would. The only thing i can think of is Disk Setting - Shutdown Timeout set to 120. Maybe thats too long or too short? Looking at my plex logs, the last playback was at 11:20pm. I dont have any VM's that could keep it hung up, just dockers (plex/arrs...) Any ideas why? tower-diagnostics-20241117-0626.zip
November 17, 20241 yr Community Expert There's nothing to see in the diags since you are using an older release, latest ones have the option to save the previous syslog. If you reboot the server now, do you get a clean reboot?

I'll have to update unraid...keeping older syslogs would be great.
November 17, 20241 yr Author I just upgraded to 6.12.13, does it have the ability to save previous syslogs?

November 19, 20241 yr Community Expert Typically, you only need the syslog server running if there's an issue causing the server to crash.
