Cache Drive Becoming Write Protected Unraid Version 6.12.13

Featured Replies

Recently my Cache drives have been becoming write protected. The GUI isn't showing any errors with the drives, but within 24 hours of restarting the server or stopping and starting the array they become write protected. I figured out it was the cache drives, by stopping my shares from going to the cache then the array. I only saw one forum where someone had this issue, and they replaced their SATA cable to resolve it. I went ahead and replaced them and still no luck. I can transfer stuff fine, when I don't go through the cache drives. I am running two 1TB cache drives with one acting as the parity, I'm not sure where to go from here to fix it.

Please post the diagnostics.

I ended up getting this solved on the unfair discord. It was an issue with my btrfs file system on my cache drives. Formatting the drives fixed the issue.
