GUID changing depending on version of unRaid booted

Featured Replies

I recently attempted to upgrade from 3.0 to 4.3.6 (4.2.4 as well) only to find that my pro key didn't work.  The reason is that the usb stick (Lexar 512 mb) returns one guid under 3.0 and another under the 4.x version. The motherboard is an Asus P5PE-VM that other than the onboard network adapter failing I haven't had a problem with.  3.0 has been working well but the cache drive has me interesed in the upgrade. Anybody else seen this/know of a fix?  I have exchanged emails with Tom and while waiting for a reply I thought that I'd ask.

Does the same thing after re-formatting and on different computers.  Anybody got any ideas?  Perhaps Tom will be willing to let me change the license from one stick to another.

I'll bet Tom will come through with an assist.

I don't have any doubt that Tom will come through (and already has for that matter).  I just found it interesting that the flash changed the guid.  It's the key I replaced the original 1.0 key with and probably wasn't built to spec.
