Unraid sometimes freezes

Featured Replies

Please I need your help finding the root cause of my problem. My unraid sometimes freezes. 100% CPU usage and I cannot get to the unraid webui or ssh. I have a Windows 10 VM and when I shut down it(through remote desktop access), my unraid is back to normal. When I check the VM process in the task manager, it's not using 100% CPU. So what and where is the problem?

There are out of memory errors caused by Jellyfin, check its config or limit its RAM usage, there also appears to be a container constantly restarting, see if you can find out which one it is by looking at the up-times.

Done limiting Jellyfin RAM. I checked the uptime of the containers and I don't see any recent uptime. The recent is 47 hours ago in which I updated some containers. How about the VM? Why shutting down the VM brings back my unraid? Is my host machine cannot handle the VM?

Try again, the OOM errors could be causing other issues, post new diags if it happens again.

Still getting OOM errors, Frigate appears to be the container causing them.

Does this means that frigate is eating my RAM even though I limit it already? Also, how can I mitigate the issue? I also can't understand why it appears to be OOM errors because when this 100% CPU happens, my RAM is like 80% only.

Recommend retesting with Frigate disabled to confirm that is causing the issues, and if yes, ask for support in the existing container support thread.
