No space left on device

Featured Replies

I have been using Unraid for a very long time. Lately, on /mnt/disk5, which is a btrfs drive, it has 1TB free but says "No space left no device." How do I resolve this? This mount is fixed to write on /mnt/disk5.

root@titan:/mnt/user/iTunes# mkdir x
mkdir: cannot create directory ‘x’: No space left on device

If I go directly to that mount (/mnt/disk5), I can write. But writing to this share /mnt/user/iTunes, where disk5 is the only "included" drive causes it to show the "No free space" error.

Does the folder already exist on that disk? Click on the share, then "compute" and post a screenshot.

That was it. Folder was present only on Disk 1, which I guess I removed at some point and set to Disk 5 only. Added Disk 1 to the included drives, and viola!

Thanks for all the help!!!

Since the split-level was set to manual, it wouldn't work without the folder already there.
