After replacing BZ* files due to Checksum, promted password . How to autoboot from USB

Featured Replies

Good Day

I got an bzfirmware error and read on the forum to replace these with the new ones ( i didnt know what version i ran).

After replacing the files i connnected a monitor on my server and then he started until promt for name and password.

What must i do to let it auto boot instead of entering username and password

Thanks in advance.

That prompt is to allow the root user to log into a Shell session to run the BASH shell.

You should be able to access the WebGUI from these instructions:

     https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/getting-started/quick-install-guide/#connecting-to-the-unraid-webgui

If not, log into the server using that login prompt on the monitor and type the following command:

diagnostics

When it finishes, it will tell where it stored the Diagnostics file on the boot drive.  Note the location.

I believe the following command will shut the server down cleanly.

powerdown

Pull the drive and plug into your PC.  Upload the file in your next post.
