Where is unRAID 5.0? ( yes, i mean stable for all you nit pickers )

I think since it is spring already (March 2012) and 4TB drives are being made (not readily sold yet) this is a legit question. Yes, yes, I know, I broke down and did buy a Synology to keep up with the times, but I would love to possibly upgrade my unRAID box one of these days too ya know. How about an estimated time frame? A guess?

No-one posting here works for unRAID and what good is a guess?

I feel like you ask this question every other week... if in slightly different ways.

The short answer is no one on these forums works for Lime Tech and therefore has no real idea of when 5.0 will be coming out.

From everything that I have been able to gather from post on the forum and general searching around the hold up is mainly with the Linux kernel at this point.  LSI controllers are broken for sure, and there may be some issues with NFS.  Both those are out of the control of Lime Tech so it is a wait and see game for them also.  Tom is usually on top of these issues, but these things do take time, that is just the nature of the beast.

Well, I guess I have to go with 5.0b12a a while longer then, mainly for 3 TB support and a M1015 card.

I know, I know, I just keep asking since I don't see anyone more impatient then me. I'm still  a happy camper.
