I currently own an unleashed license and I’m  thinking about getting a Starter license to convert a QNAP 4 bay unit, and with the current offer get a 3rd half price to use for a test/dev environment.

 

Please can you confirm if every year, I’ll need to pay the upgrade fee only once to continue getting updates on all 3 instances or will I need to pay multiple upgrade fees, one for each license I own?

Thanks @Kilrah, it’s a little bummer as for home use becomes too expensive at least for my pockets. :)

it is worth pointing out that the version you have at the time will not stop working when your eligibility for future updates runs out so you might not need to update all servers - just ones where you want new features.  You can then restart a year of update eligibility for any particular server at a later date.
