November 29, 20241 yr Hi, I am new to the Unraid scene and am trying it out on a Minisforum MS-01 with 4x 4TB NVMe (3 use the onboard M.2 slots, and the fourth uses a PCIE add-on card); the Unraid install is configured not to use an array but just a pool, which is btrfs—raid 5. I initially configured the pool devices in order: disk1 = nvme0n1, disk2 = nvme1n1, disk3 = nvme2n1, and disk4 = nvme3n1. Everything worked fine initially, but when I rebooted, the array failed to come back online and displayed an error message: Wrong Pool State, data—too many wrong or missing devices. When I look at pool devices, I see that the device order is all over the place, now out of order. So, I reordered the disks back into the correct order, but the error remains. I am unable to bring the array online. I can temporarily fix this by wiping the USB drive, reloading unraid, and reconfiguring the array. Funnily enough, the system recognises the btrfs array on its 'initial' boot and sees all my data and docker containers, etc., until I reboot, and then the array fails to load. Any ideas? I have attached the diagnostics file for review.
