unraid spins down disk to save power when the disk don;t have any active read writes.

this sounds like a udev rule to target disk to dsiaple sleep states.

can you be more clear? thinhg snot going to sleep jsut activity?

disk 3 ,11 ,22
this is nortmaly if runnign vms and dockers as they have constant read writes so the disk won't sleep if they did data coruption...

THank you for posting a diag file i will review it soon.

I still don't know what your asking.

do you have the zfs plugins installed?
What issues with what disk in zfs? btrfs?
is the machine going to a sleep state breaking something?

As you can see in my picture, all ZFS format disks are not spinning down because they are continuously being read by some process, while Btrfs format disks do not have the same issue. I have also uninstalled all ZFS plugins and do not have a ZFS pool. Therefore, I am asking how I can identify the process that is reading those ZFS disks, or if there is any way to allow those ZFS format disks to sleep.

zfs disk need to be a pool device not a array device. it is not clear in the picture.

esentail what you did was make a broken zfs 1 disk shrae in the array tryign to use unraids software raid machnincs.

you need to make a poll array of # of disk give it a name click the name and set zfs raidz1...

If you are using ZFS Master plugin try setting "Refresh interval" to "no Refresh"
