APC BGM2200-GR UPS not working

Featured Replies

Hello,

I just received a brand new APC BGM2200-GR UPS but I'm not able to get it working under Unraid (v. 7.0.0-beta.4).

I just connected my UPS to my UGREEN DXP6800 Pro and I enabled "Start APC UPS daemon" in the Unraid Settings.

Since it's a USB connect, I left any setting to default, but my UPS is always recognized as "On battery" and the shutdown process is performed.

These are the UPS specs recognized by Unraid:

Then I changed the shutdown settings in order to have more time to try different settings.

Anyway, whenever I enable the deamon, a warning will popup telling me that the NAS is running on battery.

Is there anyone who can help me?

This is just driving me crazy.

Thanks

Anyone could help me?

If the UPS is reporting ONBAT not much that can be done, try the NUT plugin, but it will probably be the same.

Hello,

I installed the NUT plugin but it works like a charm:

Screenshot2024-12-04alle22_23_43.thumb.png.7a6661720211a82ceb307acf55d554c9.png

I don't know why it works with a 3rd party plugin but not natively since it's an APC UPS.

Strange, but great that it works there.

But still showing discharging battery, lucky NUT won't go to shutdown announcement.

Anyway, this should be UPS self issue and other person also report that.

The plugin isn't working anymore.

This is the second time that it happens, the only way to get it to work again is to uninstall and reinstall the plugin itself.

I really don't know how to get my UPS to work flawlessly.

The same problem. Changed time on battery to 0 and system is not shutting down. Didsomeone have a fix for this?

Try the NUT plugin, but the UPS appears to be indicating the wrong status.

  • 3 weeks later...

I have the same UPS and unfortunately the same error messages. However, when I let NUT run, after a while it causes my server to hang up. The error message repeats for about half an hour before it causes my server to hang up.

I added pollonly: "enabled" to the ups.conf file. Let's see if it whil help...
