Unraid server freezing

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Still very new to Unraid and in the process of setting my server up. Lately my server seems to just freeze and become unresponsive. I can't really see anything in the syslog that would point towards why, but again am very new to this, so hoping someone smarter than me is able to pick up what's going on!

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged, this can also be a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one, including the individual docker containers.

So I've been messing with my server further and I think I may have narrowed it down to the qbittorrent docker, as it seems to freeze everytime this is started. But I ran the sys log as I started it and managed to capture this after it had frozen. Just wondering if this provides any more insight?

Recommend posting in the support thread for that container:
