Two Cache Drives to One

Featured Replies

I recently installed a new 4TB cache drive and would like to remove my 1 TB cache drive from Unraid and have everything on my 4 TB. I am not sure how to do this. Would someone point me in the right direction?Screenshot2024-12-05073106.thumb.png.fecf242f67c3422efc7c140018c7b7fd.pngScreenshot2024-12-05073222.thumb.png.0378b8b118a4e87eabf0314b8d139154.pngScreenshot2024-12-05073106.thumb.png.fecf242f67c3422efc7c140018c7b7fd.png

Since the pool is redundant, you can just stop the array, unassign the 1TB SSD, start the array

The pool cfg was not updated to raid1 after you added the 4TB device, you can do this:

unassign both pool devices

start array

stop array

re-assign both pool devices

start array to re-import the pool correctly

stop array

now you should be able to remove the device.
