Unraid crashing about once a day

Featured Replies

I have been running Unraid fine for over a year and no issues. Recently my server has started crashing every 24-48 hours. When I hook a monitor up to the server and a crash happens it typically scrolls a "NETDEV Watchdog error on CPU 12 transmit error". Always CPU 12 and never any others.

I have tried running with docker/VMs disabled etc. and it doesn't seem to add anymore stability. I ran it in safe mode for three days with no crash ... but I wasn't doing anything with it either. It was just sitting.

I am leaning towards it being a hardware problem, but was wondering if I should be trying anything else before I go buy a new CPU.

I attached the latest diagnostics and syslog I had it sending to another server.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It does sound more like a hardware issues, and since it's a 13700K it may be the Intel 13/14th gen problem, but difficult to say for sure without trying with a different one, you can also try to rule out the RAM first, try using the server with just one stick of RAM, if the same try the other one, that will basically rule out bad RAM.
