trying to upgrade from 6.12.11 to 6.12.14 get unRAIDServer.plg download failure: Network failure

Featured Replies

I am trying to upgrade Unraid from 6.12.11 to 6.12.14 get unRAIDServer.plg download failure: Network failure

I've tried a reboot and attempted the upgrade at first login.  I got the same result.

How can I complete the upgrade?

Thank you,

Are you sure your server has access to the internet?

Good question.

I am successfully able to ping Google's DNS from the command line and execute curl from the command line to google.com, so I'll say the answer is "yes".

If there are other tests I can perform, please let  me know.

what are your network settings dns settings?

set to public dns server:

1st one should be your gateway/router.
1.1.1.1 is cloud flare

8.8.8.8 is google
208.67.222.222 is cisco open dns

try setting these for your dns server and try again.

Thank you all for your time and support.  It was my DNS entries.  Once I corrected those following bmartino1's suggestion, the upgrade flew through.
