March 23, 201214 yr Hi, I am trying to delete a folder that is a movie. I downloaded it to my PC(win7) and tried to copy it over to my array (unraid v4.7). I managed to copy just a little part of it to unraid, but then suddenly a message pops up telling me that i do not have permission to copy it. I checked in win7 that the folder is read only. So I tried to uncheck the read only option, but it does not work. The problem is not only that i cannot copy files to unraid, i also can´t delete the portion of the folder that was copied at the beginning to my array. Unraid tells me the same ...the folder is read only: "Mar 23 22:02:14 Tower shfs: shfs_rmdir: rmdir: /mnt/disk3/0 MEDIA/In.Time.2011.PROPER.Blu-ray.CEE.1080p.AVC.DTS-HD.MA.5.1-HDCLUB/BDMV/CLIPINF (30) Read-only file system" I am really lost. I googled and windows may be causing this but I have o idea how to solve it. Pls, can anyone help me? Rgds.

March 27, 201214 yr Author Hi again, after a bad shutdown (will come to that later) once I restarted the array, i re-run a reiserfsck --check, but now it only tells me to run a reiserfsck --fix-fixable /dev/md3 instead of reiserfsck --rebuild-tree /dev/md3. So I did run reiserfsck --fix-fixable /dev/md3. Errors were corrected, but disk3 was shown as unformatted. I checked that it was not yet mounted back after ruing reiserfsck. So I mounted it back using: mount /dev/md3 /mnt/disk3. Now it is shown in the array ... and what is surprising to me ... the message of formatting it dissapeared. Is this ok? Now I tried to: -erase the folder from the array: it is now working...no more permission issues! -copy the same folder from my pc to my array...it started to do the job, so the permission issues is resolved, ... ...BUT suddenly I lost the connection to the array AGAIN. I am rally lost, since everytime I try to copy a folder to my array it happens again. There is no way to access it, I can only do a power-off using the power-off button. After powering on again a parity check automatically started. It has happen to me 5 times. What can I do? I attach the screenshot of the point where my array freezes: it seems the whole unraid freezes.. http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff75/razzta01/DSCF1266.jpg Pls, almost over 3 weeks without tha array online, I am going mad.
