Added a drive to the array and it won't format

Has been running fine for months but just added a new Hitachi 2TB 5400RPM (same as all the other drives), pre clear seemed to be fine but it just shows as:

unformatted

    I thought I saw that in one of the links I read before posting this, I am running simple features which may not show it so I will have another look.

     

    EDIT: I know everyone will find this hard to believe but I did look, I even went into the drive its self to check options (only found smart options etc.) anyway as soon as I had a second look it was there.

     

    I fail so hard. :(
