hey i have an iPad and would love to be able to browse my unraid box and C+P files directly from the smb share to my iPad.. is this possible or not? thanks.

 

i don't want to be able to stream them but actually store them locally then for example using avplayer HD watch em.

Look at the airVideo and Plex add-ons.

FileBrowser for files. It can also play videos but, only the ones iPad support natively.

do either of those apps allow me to store videos locally? thats the problem i have,

i tried file browser .. it gets the files fine but when opening into AVplayerHD... nada!

 

can someone clarify if any other solution allows local transfer of files?
