Unassigned devices icons - n00b question

Featured Replies

So, in the Unassigned Disk Devices list screenshot below, this is a drive that I've cleared.  What are the black check, "1", log, and pencil icons for?  None are active/clickable/hoverable.

thanks!

The number shows the number of partitions afaik.

The pencil is for "asthetics" and just indicates that you can change the mountpoint by clicking on the name
