And 4 Users with their own permissions

Spread across 3 disks...

 

Is it going to slow down the system?

 

why?

 

I read a post recently about it eating up memory...

8 shares and 3 users are not considered "many".

 

There are people here with 15 disks, many terabytes of data and tenths of root folders.

I have just a small install of 7 data disks (plus parity plus cache) and my root folders are 15... subfolders are several thousands (yes I do mean thousands) and files many tenths of thousands...

 

I use 2GB RAM.
