March 26, 201214 yr So just recently I had my first drive failure in my unraid server. So I replaced that drive with a gently used 2TB drive I had from another server. Everything rebuilt fine and its been working for a few days. I will say that things have been SUPER slow since adding this drive. I now see that the web interface has 61 errors on this drive, although its still green.... Here is a smart report....anyone that can help with this, id be grateful.... March 26, 201214 yr Looking at this line: 199 UDMA_CRC_Error_Count 0x0032 200 001 000 Old_age Always - 1624336 it appears that the drive has some issue with SATA communications. This might be a poor SATA cable or poorly seated connectors. Some people have suggested this can be caused by a power issue as well. Regards, Stephen
March 26, 201214 yr Author My power supply is probably somewhat small. Its a 450w Unit, but the reason I bought it was it had 26A on the 12v rail. This is a fairly new build, and the drive that was previously in this slot failed as well
