Reorganizing Hardware for Server

Featured Replies

Hi,

I´m running one Unraid Server for everything right now. Everything works in some kind of way but on every corner i have some issues.

Budget: Want to reuse as most parts possible but can spend up to 500-X? but only if it makes sense and Wife agrees

What i want:

Plex for FHD and 4K Streaming to several PCs, and nVidia Shield Pro

24/7 available Gameservers (mostly one or two at the same time)

  • ATM9 Minecraft
  • Enshrouded
  • 7DTD
  • Minecraft Vanilla
  • etc...

Unraid Dockers in general

  • adguard
  • paperless
  • Grafana
  • Homeassistant
  • etc

Possibility to play VR Games with valve Index (VM, extra pc etc.) Wifes wish!

What my thougts are:

Power consumption of the existing Server is too high. Single Core Performance too low for some Gameservers (ex: Enshrouded).

i have 256GB of ECC Ram i would like to use if possible. I need other CPU(s) with igpu to handle Plex or dedicated GPU.

Gameserver and NAS/Plex can be separated but i have only one unraid licence another one would add subscription costs.

For Daylie Gaming we have two modern Systems.
