9201-16e No drives showing

I've been running a 9300-16i for a while just fine, but I added a 9201-16e and I can't even see it show up, much less the drives attached to it.

I'm running SFF-8088 cables to an SFF-8088 to SFF-8087 dual port adapter, and then using SAS to SATA cables connected to my drives additional. Any help would be appreciated. I've reconnected cables, swapped them, multiple times.

    The controller is not being detected by Linux, this is not a software issue, try a different PCIe slot or test the HBA in a different server to confirm it's working.

    Ah, yep, problem #1 is that it's only a x4 slot and it needs to be x8. Hopefully that's the only problem.
