December 25, 20241 yr Community Expert It might be your Split Level (depending on the path of the new files) as Split Level takes precedence over Allocation Method if there is contention between them over which drive to use.
December 25, 20241 yr Author Will try this. This should work, and start filling the empty 20TB drive. Or am i misunderstanding it completely ? Edited December 25, 20241 yr by Jaycedk
December 25, 20241 yr Community Expert Most-free will work, but would recommend leaving it high-water, it should now right to the other disk with the new split-level setting.
December 25, 20241 yr Author Setting it to this, did not help.ย During move After move jaycedkunraid-diagnostics-20241225-1412.zip But will try with High-water and split level "at any level" I do have Mover-tuning plugin running, does that matter ? With these settings Don't really want to move everything off cache, so doing 5% drop down, while testing.
December 25, 20241 yr Author That did not help either 200GB moved to disk 1 and not disk 2. ย jaycedkunraid-diagnostics-20241225-1446.zip Edited December 25, 20241 yr by Jaycedk adding logs
December 25, 20241 yr Author Now doing a reboot of the system. Haven't done that after adding the drive to array.
December 25, 20241 yr Author Solution ๐คฃ๐ "The IT crew" to the rescue, "have you tried turning it off and on again !!!" Guess I have overlooked that in the documentation ๐ป. Thanks for your time, and happy new years ๐ Edited December 25, 20241 yr by Jaycedk
December 25, 20241 yr Community Expert The Mover Tuning plugin seems to cause problems for mover for many users so I suggest uninstalling it to see if it then starts working.
