Backup Server Active. Some icons may not appear, and plugin installations may be affected

Featured Replies

Recently, I could not install any docker app in which 0 byte of the image files could be pulled.  On the top of apps' field, there always is an alarm says "

Backup Server Active. Some icons may not appear, and plugin installations may be affected

".

I don't know what happened. Could anyone give me a help and thanks.

That's an issue with the CA plugin, it should self-resolve in a few hours, but any issues please use the plugin support thread:

CA isn’t up to date as that message doesn’t exist anymore.

but the reason for it was that you are unable to pull anything from GitHub which may also affect your docker pulls

set static dns addresses in network settings to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

It has lasted for long. "self-resolve in a few hours" does not work.

Thanks!

I found the dns addresses OK.

How to make CA up to date? What's the newest version?2024-12-26220231.thumb.png.b97292b480e9c295b5dac7ed835c3f71.pngimage.thumb.png.703087f29116c511076da5e6ba9e00ff.png

Since it looks like you're on 6.12, latest version is 2024.12.20

If checking for updates doesn't fix that up, then you're still not hitting GitHub properly.  Post your diagnostics

Sure, my os is on 6.12. I know the newest version is 6.12.14. Do you mean that if i don't update os, then i cannot make CA up to date?

Go to Settings, Docker.  Disable the service.  Delete the docker vdisk file then re-enable the service and try again.

I can reinstall transmission but cannot install rsync-server.
